Let It Flow

Blinded by love’s waterfalls,

Hoping my heart can withstand the fall…

How did I end up here,

Used…Not able to see

My rearview was smogged I couldn’t see clearly…

I survived so many waves,

I ignored love directly in my face

Why didn’t I love myself enough to see, who was truly feeling me…

Neglected my intuition

Hoping faith would give love a new definition

Apologies to her, myself and my mission,

One tear, my eyes are clear…

I wish the best for what’s not for me,

She plotted and plotted to keep what she wanted,

I’ll never return to darkness of love,

I won’t lift a pen to write her another word…

Resuscitated, the ocean healed away the mourning dove…

No more grief, I’ll let the love for me flow freely,

Without actions the words hold no meaning…

I don’t fight for love

What’s not for me won’t flow to me…

Now I can flow in the direction of paradise,

Under waterfalls I dance of the sacrifice,

Rebounds never bring nothing nice…
