Standing original in my brand

I’m a butterfly that fought through concrete…

A burning rose enduring water

Too deep for anyone to compete with my currents…

My originality is my power,

Inspiring eyes only hope to devour

The lines of my truth

To baptize me into the same scripts of a social media influencer…

I will not downgrade my skills

To preach the same verses everybody is hearing…

I’ll leave the ministering to the calling of a minister…

I’m above any distraction

I won’t give jealousy a reaction,

The perfection they aim for me to reach

Won’t rise me higher than the imperfections God gifted me…

I am the born Goddess of lesbian love,

Still standing in a league of my own…

My expedition won’t be built on hatred,

When my words touch the soul of women who love,

Healing souls with poetic hope…

Refusing to be cliché to gain likes with approval,

I’m standing…being original…

Speaking a love language to my future love,

Exuding what we need more in this world…

Spreading the realness of my soul is humbling
